eFin is observed as a unique combination of a Core Banking Application and a Development Environment. eFin is developed in Java and it follows a fully object oriented architecture. The feature rich libraries of eFin combined with the unique architecture allows code reuse and hence makes web based application developments simple and easy to use. eFin is platform and database independent. It is designed using SOA principles. All banking modules are developed as an extension from the core eFin packages.

eFin supports multilevel transaction entry and authorization. Hence one can authorize the transaction entered by one or more users before a database commit. The Integrated online TPS with configurable control features is a unique feature of the eFin system, which enhances system security. eFin is designed to handle multi-country, multi-zone and multi-currency transactions. eFin is developed using Java and J2EE technologies and is dependent only on open and industry standard protocols.
